Powerful Tips For Highly Productive Remote Teams

“I can’t wait to get back to the office” is a common refrain that misses the complexities of current work from home situations. As Anne Helen Petersen writes for The New York Times

“But people don’t really want to get back to the office. They want to get out of their apartments, their houses, their parents’ houses. People want their children back in school, and also out of the house. They want to see people’s faces again and have conversations with people who are closer than six feet from them. But that doesn’t mean that they actually want to be back in the office. At least, not the way the office was before.”

Digital Nomad: Working Remotely from Puerto Rico

Digital Nomad: Working Remotely from Puerto Rico

With more people working remotely, have you dreamed of becoming a digital nomad? You’re not the only one!

In 2019, my wife and I took our two sons out of school, packed our cherished items into a 5×10 storage unit in Vermont, and got rid of our home and everything in it to become full-time digital nomads. It was both liberating and challenging to say goodbye to everything we owned. Not to mention, our friends and family that we visited with frequently.

As a digital nomad, you make a lot of sacrifices. You give up the comforts of home, the possessions that once brought you joy, and deep interpersonal relationships. You give these up in exchange for cultural variety, food experiences, architecture, and a new perspective. It’s rewarding, but it’s also incredibly complex, emotionally.

Cost Segregation Helps Real Estate Owners

How Cost Segregation Helps Real Estate Owners Build Wealth

A general tax strategy is to recognize as many write-offs as we can.

We want to do this as early as we can to minimize taxes. And cost segregation helps real estate owners minimize taxes. Reinvest tax savings into your growing business. Use those additional funds to invest in items that further reduce your taxes. When it comes to your tax return, this is one of the few times when losses are actually a good thing! Cost segregation is one of the most effective ways to create losses when you are a real estate investor or your business owns real estate.

What qualifies as R&D expenses?

What Qualifies as R&D Expenses?

The Research & Development Tax Credit (R&D tax credit) is a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit that incentivizes the development of new or improved products or processes.

Potentially any company that performs “qualifying research activities” (QRAs) on U.S. soil can take advantage of the credit. R&D expenses that qualify for the R&D tax credit are known as qualified research expenses or qualifying research expenditures (QREs).

How successful ecommerce businesses convert traffic to customers

How Successful eCommerce Businesses Convert Traffic Into Customers

You hear it again and again, “You need more traffic for your eCommerce store”.

But getting traffic to your website doesn’t mean your sales will go. Dilemma, no? Your eCommerce store is not the first to face this issue, and it definitely won’t be the last. The good news is that to convert traffic into customers isn’t rocket science. It just takes a growth marketing mindset!

While we argue that being a growth marketer means being a scientist (and artist, psychologist, accountant, and writer…but I digress), the nuts and bolts of successful growth marketing come down to smart testing.
